Ready to help by volunteering a shift at the Nature Center?
Hausmann Nature Center volunteer opportunities available two weekends a month from May through the end of October.
Volunteer as little or as much as you like...one shift or many!
Shifts are available morning or afternoon from 10:00 am-1:00 pm and 1:00-4:00 pm, Saturdays & Sundays.
The Hausmann Nature Center (HNC) is a dual purpose facility, providing Nature Center education programs and informational displays two weekends per months, and is then also available for rent on the other two weekends each month.
On the weekends that are reserved for the Nature Center to be open to the public, we will have:
- Nature Center informational Exhibits and
- Children's Interactive Area
- Scheduled programs
Our schedule for the Nature Center to be open:
- July 2 and July 3
- July 9 and July 10
- August 6 and August 7
- August 13 and August 14
- September 3 and September 4
- September 10 and September 11
- October 15 and October 16
- October 22 and October 23
HOURS 10-1 and 1-4
